Overview

Job Description

• Installation and configuration of operating systems and software for users
• Diagnose and Resolve Hardware and Software issues
• Provide setup and support of IT Equipment (Laptops, Desktops, printers, scanners and other desktop peripherals)
• Assisting users on operating system, email and software related issues
• Deployment of PC, Notebook and Printers for as request by IT department
• Assist in network and wireless troubleshooting and network connectivity issues
• Troubleshoot networked and local printers. Identify and resolve hardware and software application conflicts.
• Coordinate with equipment and 3rd party vendors to resolve problems
• Provide Desktop security services (security patches when require)

Requirements

• Nitec or Diploma in Information Technology, Engineering or related fields
• Must be familiar with Windows operating system
• Provide friendly customer service to users and clients
• Able to speak clear and fluent conversational English
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to co-ordinate activities with the teams, vendors and users
• Willing to work on 12hrs Rotating Shifts
• Relevant technical IT Skills
 has an understanding of PC hardware configuration
 ability to trouble shoot hardware failure
 has a good understanding of PC usage
 has an understanding of PC usage in a LAN environment
 ability to assist user in installing application in MS Windows environment
